I Finally Paid Off My Cruise Thread

While i'm probably one of the last from the group cruise to do so ;):banana::party:finally made my final payment!

(Actually, charged it to my Disney CC card :blush:...1st time, so now i'll get a $50 OBC because i used it for whole amount?)

Not familiar w/the OBC thing with Disney, will it be reflected somewhere in the final cruise docs?

Well your not the last, I still have to pay mine off, and I better do it before I lose my nerve, I'm not to sure about being on a boat in the middle of no where, but my husband and kids can't wait, so I guess I'll just have to deal. :sunshine:

I had a one of the West Coast cruises planned the year the ship came over to CA. I actually chickened out BIG TIME and cancelled our trip. I just couldn't do it. I get nervous going on the Mark Twain on the Rivers of America in Disneyland!! I've never been to Pirates Liar because I won't go on that raft thing!:rotfl:

Congrats on making that final payment!! I love when my vacation is paid months before we leave. I'm actually off to the bank to make a deposit towards our Oct. Disneyland vacation.:banana:

I don't remember if it gets listed in the cruise docs or not, but I don't think it does.

You can defintely check with Gail to make sure it's listed on the onboard account. You can also check your account as soon as you get on board as well.

:rotfl: I felt like that too but you won't even know you're moving. I haven't been on DCL but I've sailed Carnival a couple of times and it was really, really smooth sailing. Just relax and enjoy.

Dude's right - it won't show up. You can verify it when you get onboard at the Guest Services desk on Deck 4.

im prone to motion sickness/dizziness due to vertigo issue couple years ago...used the patch & no problems last 2 cruises:clap:

only time i felt anything @ all was in the elevators when we hit rough weather one night, still wasn't bad & im a chicken lol

You can take your DCL reservation number and log in at DCL's website. There's a section entitled "My Cruise" or "My Reservation" or something like that. You'll also need the birthdate and name of the first person on the reservation. Then, it will tell you what date you can start making your reservations for dining/excursions. You can also fill out your boarding paperwork ahead of time so it's all ready when you get to the port. You guys will have a great time. Have fun planning.

90 days out for CC members..and I'm not sure how long it takes DCL to enter payments to have your cruise show as "paid". If their system updates immediately or overnight or somewhere in between. Guess it would depend on when your travel agent passes along your payment.

Go to your ressie and it will tell you the date you can get online to make your ressies. Set your alarm or stay up late - :sunshine2: 3:00 a.m. Eastern, midnight Pacific. On the 3 or 4 night cruises, sometimes it's challenging to get your desired time unless you're a crazy insomniac. There will be slots available onboard but you have to be one of the first onboard, rush to the desk, etc.

I'm so envious of all of you who are able to make ressies tomorrow. Fun stuff!
