I love trying to switch up my exercise routine by trying out new videos (with my Online Blockbuster account from SR, no less) and was curious if any of you have a favorite DVD?

Right now mine are the Yoga Booty Ballet Live DVD's. I have YBB Burlesque and YBB Latin and they are both a lot of fun to do. I have a few other YBB that I haven't tried as well.

How 'bout you?

I like my windsor pilates dvds. I am not sure if they are on blockbuster. I know they are not on netflix. I tried Carmen Electra's Striptease tape #1 and I felt like an idiot doing it and then pulled a muscle due to her crappy moves. I would stay away from it. Luckily I rented that one on netflix.

Prevention Fitness express belly, butt, and thighs (10 mins each) really kicks my butt but in a good way. Its on netflix so I'd think blockbuster would have it.

I remember trying Taebo in college and hurt myself with the quick, short, jabby moves. I haven't tried it since.

I have heard good things about the Jillian Michaels dvds but have yet to officially try them.

Thanks for this thread - I need to get a couple different ones - my biggest problem with excercise is I get bored very easily. The YBB ones sound good - now I'll just have to find someplace to buy them online and get SR credit :p

I finally opened my DWTS workout/dancing DVD. What I thought would be a cake walk since I love to dance (which was evidenced at the Affiliate Summit), I was mistaken. Its a pretty tough workout while learning dance steps. Its pretty awesome if you like dancing and some of the DWTS professional dancers. You can order here if you want to try it.

Ooh, I'll have to look into that.

Can I ask if you need a lot of room to learn the steps? My space is limited but if you don't need a whole dance floor that'd be great.

Oh no, I just did it in the middle of my living room on a 9x12 rug, you dont move a whole lot, its more how you use your body than moving around a lot.

Its available at Shop ABC Tv. I got in like 3 days when I ordered it and they had said out of stock, but that was quite awhile ago. I'm sure its in stock right now. You'll love it.

I like winsor pilates too. I like Pilates because it doesn't seem when you are doing it that it is a tough workout, but I always have that good muscle achy feeling the next day when I do it right.

If I had the room in my Living room, I would buy an exercise ball. I really enjoy that, but don't have the space, unfortunately!

I tried a new YBB last night--Light & Easy. It's so much fun, honestly it doesn't feel like you're working out! I have found that once a workout feels like "work" that's the end of it for me. I have to have something entertaining!

Double posting to say that I found a DVD of Leslie Sansone's Walk & Jog (Leslie does the whole Walk Away the Pounds series) at the thrift store today for $1. I already have it so if anyone here is interested I'd be more than happy to pick it up this afternoon (if it's still there) and pass it along. JLMK. :)

Where can I get the YBB DVD's through SR? Also, it seems there are quite a few of them to choose from? Which would be best for a beginner to these? Thanks!

I rent mine through Blockbuster Online (I think that was one of my first "offers" here at Sunshine and I've been using them ever since). They don't have too many but the ones that I've rented and used, I really like.

I really like YBB: Cabaret Style (Burlesque), YBB Light N' Easy and YBB Latin.

I still have the Walk & Jog DVD that I can send to anyone...on my dime. :) Just PM me or LMK if you're interested.

It's a good DVD though I don't know if it would make a good "starter". :rotfl: It's a half hour long workout by Leslie Sansone (she does the Walk Away the Pounds series) and it's fast walking with 2-3 minutes of light jogging interspersed throughout. (Actually, I think it's four jog segments within the workout.) It's a great workout for only being a half hour long.

If you'd like it, LMK!
