We went from June 27-July7. This part of the trip report will only be the first day. I will add to it when I get my photo album/scrapbook passed the 30th.

June 26 - The vehicle is loaded and we leave the Findlay, OH area around 4:30 pm. We head out to the Detroit airiport area. We have 1 night reservations for Howard Johnsons. We arrive at the hotel around 6:00. The hotel is right by the airport and we lay on top of the SUV and watch the planes for awhile. We go to McDonalds and grab something to eat. Go back to the hotel and get ready for bed. We need to be at the airport at 4:45 am. However, really there was no reason to go to bed early because we could barely sleep. DH and I DEFINITELY could do the WDW commercial about begin too excited to sleep.

June 27th - Get up EARLY - mainly because I could not sleep. Take a shuttle out to the airport. Go to the NW area and there is not many people in line. Find where we get on the plane and....wait....and wait.....it seems like forever!

Plane takes off on time at 6:50.

Very smooth flight (however I do not like to fly). Arrive in Orlando - YIPPEE!!!! Find Alamo's kiosk and get our standard SUV. Head out to POR. Check in. Tell the CM that DD will be celebrating her b-day and she marked it in the computer. Head out to Epcot.

We were able to ride the new Finding Nemo ride. We all enjoyed it. We saw CRUSH for the very first time. That was neat! We took a quick tour of the countries.

We never visited the countries before as a family. Then finally, we went on Spaceship Earth.

We came back to the hotel for a swim and dinner at POR. We order pizza. It was better than the last time we were there (2 years ago). Then we went on our carriage ride at 9:30 at night. We were all tired and DD fell asleep.

Can't wait to read more!! Looks like a fun time. I didn't know you were in Findlay, my husband used to drive down there all the time when he drove for Schneider. We live up near Ann Arbor, so we're practically neighbors! :)

We actually live in a small town outside of Findlay - Vanlue. Its school is K-12 with less than 300 students. People around here call us VanWho???:rotfl:

Okay, here is the second day of our trip. Sorry to break it into days, but it is easier for me.

June 28. Off to Magic Kingdom!!!! My favorite!!!!

We visited Splash Mountain first. This was the time when we got off of the ride and I turned around to ask DH if my butt looked wet. Well... DH was not standing behind me. A nice man with his little boy looked at me dumbfounded when I asked him if my butt looked wet. I just smiled at him and said..."you are not my husband..." We both giggled and went on our way.

This picture is my kids in the little playground area after Splash.

We also rode Thunder Mountain. Then we went to Fanstasyland and rode all of those rides. We visited Winnie the Poohs playground because I LOVE Winnie the Pooh - especially Eeyore.

We were able to see the show on the castle stage. That was neat. I got LOTS of pics of that. DD LOVED it.

We went to Toontown. DD LOVES visiting Minnies house. So we did that.

Visited some characters in the meet and greet area.

We also rode the teapots. Let me clarify that. My family rode the teapots and I took pictures. I do not circle things.... Alice and the Madhatter rode in one of the teapots when my family was riding. It was neat.

We went back to the resort and did some swimming and ate lunch.

We went back to MK and went to Tom Sawyer Island which we have NEVER done before. We really enjoyed it. So did the kids. We had to pry the kids off the island. Hopefully next trip we will enjoy the island a little more.

We ate at, I think it is called Pinnochio's or something like that.

We went back to the hotel and enjoyed having a towel animal! The only one of our 11 day trip, but we enjoyed it. We went to bed ready for our MGM trip tomorrow!

It is funny you say that my oldest looks like me. Actually my middle DS looks JUST like my pictures when I was that age - I would like to say I was more girlified, but I was NOT. My mom made me have short hair. I looked like a boy. For a girl, I was sure NOT attractive!

But people see different things in my kids. Sometimes people think my boys are twins (I think they look TOTALLY different), some people think my oldest looks like DH, and my DD looks like me. I can never really tell. Except Austin, my middle one, I think he looks alot like me. But who knows!

Just an Idea Jannet would it not be better to have a sub board under All Things Disney Called Trip Reports were eveyone has one thread and the update it as they go. One single thread for all might get very confusing if many people are positing trip reports at once.

So far great trip report linanglab, love reading it!

yes, love this! your kids are very attractive. I think it is great that your older kids still enjoy disney. Gives me hope that in 10-15 years we will still be doing Disney. :)

I actaully think all your kids look a little like you. :) Funny how we all see things differently.

agreed! otherwise they're all just going to run together and that's going to get confusing and it's not fair to everyone who wants to share! :)

We are staying at POR in October when we go. Did you like the carriage ride? We have talked about doing that, was it expensive?

Can't wait to hear more!

The carriage ride was nice. This was the 2nd year we did it. It was so relaxing. It cost $35 for 1/2 hour and then add a tip. You will definitely enjoy it!

Angela

More report either today or maybe tomorrow about our next day!

Not bad at all, did you have to call ahead to reserve it?? What time is a good time to do it??

We did call about a month ahead of time. We liked going at night when it was dark - around 9:30. We liked seeing all of the lights on at the resorts, etc. But I hear alot of people like to go when the sun is still out so they can actually see everything. I don't think the carriage rides start until 6:00 pm.

Well I might have to check that out. Take a look at the schedule, who do you call to reserve it?
