View Full Version : A new pill for me

I just ordered the new diet pill with hoodia from Nutrional Science labs. It comes with a guarantee, and since we have a good special going on it right now, what the heck. i see it also helps with thyroid, which I take meds for anyway. I can use my blood pressure lowered too, so, all around, hopefully it will help. I'm a snacker, not a good eater, though I eat healthy foods for the most part, I just don't seem to sit down and eat a meal. Anyway, I'm giving it a try.

You know I tried a hoodia pill and it just didn't work for me. I never felt the appetite suppresant from it. Rather I'd just eat more. I hope it works out for you. I have heard it works for some but I'm wondering if its more mental or not.
Have you thought about Ali? My coworker is using it without any umm "side effects" to put it politely. I am considering it. She hasn't gained weight but she hasn't lost any on it either but she eats out 7 days a week so it must be working if she's staying the same weight and not gaining on all the mexican food around here.

That pill scares me a little. You are talking to someone with chronic colitis and I sure don't need anything adding to that, if you know what I mean.

I was thinking the same thing about this pill...I was tempted when I first heard about it but I have IBS, so I know exactly what you mean! :rotfl: I also tried a pure hoodia pill and it did absolutely nothing for me either. Please let us know your experience with this one from the Nutritional Science. I was VERY tempted to try this when you first added this website.

Yeah I have IBS and right now its acting up so I'm not really jumping to order it quite yet. I might if my weigh in gets bad and just start popping IBS pills as well. My IBS isn't too bad so usually its just a pill here and there once every few months. I'd hate to screw with that though. I guess I could pop one in with the alli and then maybe end up "normal". Ok that is a little TMI. Sorry guys.

Well, I've been on this for not quite a month now, and I can tell you it does work, well, for me it has. There are no side effects either. It definatley controls my appetite, doesn't make me jittery or anything like that. I have lost weight on it. Between this and my thyroid pills, over the past couple months I have lost 20lbs. I'd like to lose 20 more. Maybe I should try to exercise.:(
Nahhhh.

Thanks Cindy for posting this. I have had these sitting in my cabinet since the shopping special. I can't seem to make myself swallow them. I wasl hoping the would be little tiny pills ... no such luck. I have some weird mental thing - :rotfl: - I just can't swallow pills. After your post, I'm going to get up in the morning and really try to start taking them. I've still got 15-20 lbs to lose, and while WW is doing pretty good, I need all the extra help I can get.
If I can get myself to take them regularly, I'll let you know how they work.

They are capsules.....open them up and sprinkle on your toast or something like that. I only take them with food anyway.
Guess I'll break down and pull out tha Ab lounger. The last few days DH and I have been playing pool volleyball, and I am so out of shape its pathetic. Sigh

BAD IDEA - LOL! Are you trying to kill me Cindy? There is a reason these things are in a capsule form. The powder tastes awful. I poured it on my jello --- had to throw out the jello. :rotfl: I did finally manage to swallow one of the capsules -- only 86 more to go. :rotfl:
Tomorrow is a new day and I'll keep trying. :p

I never said they tasted good, just didn't want you to choke trying to swallow one. But, didn't want you to choke on their horrible taste either. :rotfl:

Cindy sent me some and I like them. In fact, I tried something else from a different company and they were a total fraud! So I am going back to these. Combined with work on my Ab Lounge and Treadmill, of course. :)

Actually, I've had to quit taking them because they suppressed my appetitie so much that I just didn't want to eat. I had to force myself and though I could stand to lose a few more pounds, I really need to tighten up now since I've lost close to 30lbs and the flab is hanging. (hope you weren't eating when you read that)

We have them at Nutritional Science Labs. They are pure Hoodia. They don't make me nervous or jittery. I take two in the morning, thats it. I know they are wearing of around 7 and I can feel myself getting hungrier then, but I don't take anymore. You are suppose to take another one at dinner, but if I did, I would never eat. If you don't know what Hoodia is, google it. Its an all natural appetitie suppressant from Africa. The same thing is in the power pops. I've tried a hundred diet pills, none of them have acted this way for me.

Okay, I thought I'd give it a try. I went to Nutritional Science Labs, via SR shopping, of course, and can only find a couple products. The diet product they are now promoting is Lipocetin (or something like that). I see no Hoodia product, nor is Hoodia an ingredient in the other product. Cindy, can you be more specific about the name of the product?

Lipocerin does have the Hoodia...this is the one you're talking about right?
try this direct link just and look:

Here's a cut and paste from about half way down the page:
Stack the Odds In Your Favor With Lipocerin, the All-Natural, 100% Guaranteed Weight Loss Solution!
Lipocerin contains Nature’s best ingredients to help your body fight excess fat! Lipocerin combines the amazing appetite-suppressing power of Hoodia Gordonii with the metabolism-boosting power of Chromium Picolinate.
Hoodia Gordonii, derived from a rare African cactus, has amazing appetite-suppressing qualities. It helps you think about food less and tricks your brain into thinking you’re full. This ingredient is NOT a stimulant and has no reported side effects.
I've made a note and think I will try this...I've noticed I'm slowly adding on weight every year and exercising and watching what I eat doesn't seem to be helping...maybe this would give me a little boost....

I went shopping and got one bottle of these pills. Right now, they have a deal to save $12 off with a SR coupon, plus free 3-5 day shipping. If it works, I will try a bigger quantity next time. To be continued..........

I couldn't get the $12 coupon code to work but they also have a $10 coupon code, onsite. I decided to forget the $2 and order, NOW, while I am thinking about it or I'll mess around, as always, and not get it. Hope it does well, or gets me motivated.

That's okay, I can live without the extra $2 off. I am a major procrastinator, when I finally decide to do something, I need to just do it.

okay I just bought these pills. Now I can't wait til they get her and I start on them I will post back on what I think. I had thought about getting the buy 2 get 1 free but I decided that if I don't like them I don't want 2 bottles left. So I just got 1 bottle with the $12.00 off with Sunshone code.

I'm on my second bottle and will likely start buying the buy 2 get 1 free as of the next time that I buy. I only take 2 a day though, not 3. I'm a little worried about getting jazzed up too late in the evening. But I may switch to 3 eventually.

I bit the bullet and bought them they came yesterday. 2 is more then enough for me, but I do have a question.
This may be personal or TMI but has anyone noticed a different color when they go no#1? I drink water all day so you know what that does, but I have noticed it a little brighter then usual? Sorry if it's TMI, but just curious what Tricia and Cindy or anyone else has noticed.
thanks!

Lipocerin is still my favorite. I took it earlier this year and stopped at some point during the year (can't remember when). I can say that this is the first year that I have kept off most of the weight that I took off in previous years. Now, I was doing a combination of WW, the Lipocerin, and exercise. So it wasn't just taking a pill. But I already started back up on it this week and plan to place another order as soon as I run out.
I think part of the reason that I kept the weight off this year was because I didn't "crash diet" at all. The Lipocerin gave me just a little bit of appetite suppresant and extra energy for my morning exercise. I only lost a little bit of weight at a time, but I didn't gain it all back within a month of stopping taking it (which is what has always happened to me in the past).
We don't have any coupons up, but I did notice that if you put the Lipocerin in your cart and then edit your cart, it will give you two different coupon codes--one for $10 off and one for $20.

No jitters is a BIG thing. I also like that you can scale it. You can take 1-3 a days, so you can start with just 1 a day and see what it does to you. I've never taken more than 2 a day, so my bottles last longer than what they say. I think they last 45 days instead of 30.
