You really didn't blame someone else but you probably quoted the price to mom without blinking (and even if you did blink you were probably on the phone while letting her know) so I'd give you half marks for that. You still need to work a bit, but buy me a drink and I'll pass you on Step 1.

Most are PROBABLY wondering why it matters what I told my mother...at my age ...with kids and a husband. It is soooo much easier just to fib about how much I am spending on vacation during the school week. This way she will be more willing to help DH. I know...not exactly the best but hey it works for us!

Yeah wasn't it the entries into winning the cruise? If you had so many entries it was a $25 credit or $50 credit. Every survey and shopping purchase counted towards the entry plus OBC from SR.
