Castaway Cay is beautiful! I disembarked shortly after we docked and took a bit of a walk around the island. Was hoping to see Tricia finish her run but I missed them. It was already very warm!

I found Captain Jack on the beach and Island Mickey at the post office so I had to grab quick pictures. I headed back to the boat to get ready for the beach!

A bunch of us ended up meeting at Serenity Bay. The water was amazing. I parked myself on a lounge chair under an umbrella and had fun chatting with everyone. Most of us had lunch at the BBQ near the bar on the beach. Very good, especially the cookies and cream soft serve ice cream. Back to my chair for more lounging. I was starting to feel very warm though and decided to get back to the ships air conditioning. Had a cool shower and couldn't believe it when I looked in the mirror. I was so burnt I looked flourescent! :headache: I am one of the only people I know who can get so burned just sitting in the shade. A warning to others that the sand reflects as well as water so reapply that sunscreen!

Janet, Traci, Kevin and I met up on deck 10 to watch us sail away from our wonderful island retreat. So sad to be leaving.

I was planning to attend the Disney Dreams show but when I saw the swaying curtains in the theatre I decided that was a bad idea. I did make it to dinner and had a wonderful time. At this point the cruise was feeling too short! After dinner we had to make sure we were packed and our bags were outside for pick up.
