Day Four: (Sunday) Port Canaveral

The dreaded time had come. We had to say goodbye to all our friends. But first we all gathered for breakfast in Tritons. Some lucky people were heading to WDW for the rest of their vacations, but I think most of us were heading home either that day or the next.

They finally kicked us off the boat just after 9 and we made our way to find luggage and go through customs. Easy peasy. Final goodbyes outside the building. Shelly, Connie, Dee and I got on the shuttle to the rental place and picked up our car. Funny moment of the day trying to fit all our luggage in the trunk!

We headed to WDW to check out a few resorts and pick up a ring Dee had lost at the Poly. We had lunch at Poly and sat on the beach for a bit (I was wrapped in towels to avoid more sun)

Way too soon it was time to head to the airport. They dropped me off as my flight was first. Funny thing was there gate was near mine so I did see them later! Loved the goodbye shout out just before I boarded girls!

I left at 6:30 on my 6 hour flight to Seattle. Landed in Seattle about 10 PST and boarded my flight to Vancouver at 10:30. Let's just say that my sunburn garnered a few comments (even from the sympathetic customs lady). I made it back to my place by about 1 in the morning (making that 4 am EST!!!!!)

I very tiring day, but the trip was so worth it. Not sure I can cruise again but it was definately an experience I'm glad I didn't miss!
