We had a great time at WDW last week, only one day of rain but that was the day we were bringing my SIL back to the airport to go home, so it wasn't a big deal...I would have put on the ponchos but she didn't want to get wet, so we did a bit of shopping instead. We ate and drank so much but I managed to lose 2 lb's and transferred it to my SIL who gained the 2 lbs :rotfl: The food and wine we tried was really delicious but I thought the crowds were huge, especially the weekends when the locals all show up, seriously, I haven't seen WDW that crowded in a long time. We always go in October and May but almost never during the same week that we did the previous year, I have to make good use of my annual pass. We were told that some schools have changed their fall break, so maybe that was the reason? We had a very unusual episode at the BCV, the three of us were walking the short cut in the back on our way to Epcot on the third day we were there and although we didn't realize it at the time, some non-disney hired workers were cleaning the roofs and we were getting dripped on...didn't think too much about it until we got almost to the gate when my SIL looked down at her clothes and she had white spots all over her lime green top and grey spots all over her white pants, my husband had white spots all over his dark purple golf shirt (it WAS my favorite shirt too) My clothes all escaped the white spots but my brand new LLBean Ameribag got a few faint white spots too. Yup, you guessed it...they were washing the roof with bleach!!!! Hah, yeah..where were the warning signs???? We ended up getting compensated from the Beach Club but what we were most upset about was that there were no signs warning people of what they were doing....if we had seen any warnings, we would not have walked through this area. It all worked out in the end after we went on a shopping spree at the Premium Outlets. :rotfl: One last thing...a very sad, horrible thing happened...don't know if it happened at my airport or in the Orlando airport but one of my SR red luggage tags was ripped completely off one of my suitcases and I was left with only the looped ends hanging when I retrieved it.
