I'm on board! No vacations and no excuses to not stick to it! My goal is going to be 4 days cardio and 2 days strength training. I really want to work on toning back up. Oh and really going to work on getting my water!

My goal this month is to do 4 days cardio and 4 days strength training (2 upper and 2 lower). I'm still going to focus on getting my running stamina a little higher. Continue drinking lots of water and limiting my bad snacks.

Of course, this will all start when I finish off these darn anitbiotics! Having strep and then getting a sinus infection on top of that is bad enough, but these meds are just wiping me out!

I'm in!!!! I did a little bit better in October but now that Halloween and DD's bday party is over (mere hours ago) I have no reason other then the holiday season is fast approaching! lol I would like to lose 10#'s this month.

By doing that I will exercise 4 days a week, combining cardio and weights. I will keep drinking my water and try to stop snacking so late at night.

I didn't do any exercise today except running around.
745 am DS ice hockey game
9 am girls field hockey
10 am drop DS off for end of year football hike
12 pm pick up pizza
1230 park for FB party
2 pm DD's gymnastics bday party at YMCA

Think I ran around enough today? :rotfl:

Tomorrow is her real bday but other DD has swimming lessons so I will at least get in 30 mins cardio.

I'll join in! Between taking a Zumba Gold class, teaching one Zumba Gold class, taking a chair yoga class and teaching 2 cardio circuits a week (as of mid-month), I should be able to get a decent amount of exercise in!

Today I taught a cardio circuit class - and I'm sore for it, now! But it was my 1st time teaching this class (and with a last-minute playlist change).

Thanks Liz! I am totally in. I'm not sure what I am going to decide as my goal for this month but I really want to start doing something to get active again and feeling better. Seeing my grandmother this weekend and what happens if you don't take care of yourself properly hit me hard. While I know genetics plays a large role in your future so does diet and exercise!

No problem Cate!

I'm not doing too hot on my goals this week so far. I guess getting older, I just can't bounce back like I used to.

Sunday I had a 30 min workout on the stair/ellipitcal machine.
Yesterday couldn't get my butt out of bed.
Today since the kids were off from school I got there around 615 am. Did 20 mins on the stairmaster then 32 min on the treadmill with another 25 min weight workout. I did some upper, some lower and some abs.

still would like at least 2 if not 3 more days this week so lets hope i'm not up to late watching the election and can get out of bed tomorrow morning.

So far, Monday I covered 2 classes - a mid-tempo aerobics and a Zumba Gold class, and then Tuesday morning I also covered a class. I actually don't have aother class until Friday morning, then Saturday I have another class, and Sunday I have my Zumba Gold training for 9 hours. And probably Friday night I'll go in and choreograph my Monday mornign class (which I start teaching the day after I get my Zumba Gold certificate!). In between, I'll be walking.
