DCL October 24-31, 2009 anyone?

By the time we got off the last cruise, we knew we needed to book a 7 day again. It's not an official Sunshine Rewards cruise, but if anyone is thinking about taking a 7 day next fall, maybe we can get a group together? The Sunshine Family will be there as well as Miss Angie and her family for sure. We're stopping at St. Marten, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay. The rates were about the lowest that week for any week in all of the year.

Man...we booked for another 4 night starting Oct 25th. Hmmmm.... I have time to work on convincing DH that we should switch to a 7 night! We need to do it now before DS starts full day...right? right? lol

Have you ladies seen the DCL specials for early 2009? Book a 4 or 7 nighter and get a second 3 night cruise later in the year for $99!

Yes, Disney Girl - you need to do the 7 nighter before DS gets too old. Tricia is right - the fall is the best price and weather is great. Just get trip insurance in case of hurricane - we used our insurance when we sailed with Hurricane Jeanne - it's worth every penny (but buy independently, not through DCL). My DS is now in 7th grade it's getting harder for him each year. For 2010, we booked a 4 night cruise in August and it's costing more than a 7 nighter in October, but we just can't do it to DS.

I know -- we could do a 7-night in Oct for what our 5-night is costing in June, but it's right in the middle of football season for DS. Actually with our dogs and DH being self-employed it's difficult to be gone for that long period. I think the 7-night prices in the fall are great!

My family and I are already going on this cruise. Booked it about 6 months ago. Less than a year now!!!
