My awful Day!!!

I have had the worst day. First of all I went to my sister's house to get my hair done. She is a hair dresser and has been doing my hair most of my life. Well she has been having weird things going on in her life lately and she just isn't always there. Well I had asked her to change my hair back to red and to give me a long inverted bob. Those that watch Grey's think Addison's color and if you watch Days think Hope's new haircut. I even sent her pictures of both hairdo's. I left there and wanted to cry. The color is right color but it isn't even. There are sections that seem to have been missed. The hair do is too short and isn't inverted enough so it looks more like a regular short bob. ACK I am so aggravated. I am constantly giving this person money and she can't put her life on hold long enough to do my hair correctly. Lesson learned I ll pay someone from now on. Now, as she is blowing my hair dry I get a phone call from Brandon saying that a CRANE has run over the bed of his truck!!! He was parked and the guy driving the crane came over the levee and lost control and rolled right over the back of his truck. I know it will all be taken care of and he will get a rental on Monday to use until his is fixed or replaced but we were taking that vehicle to Disney on next Friday!!!! ACK!!!!! Where is the alcohol when I need it?????

I'm so sorry, and thank God your husband wasn't in that truck! I know how you feel about the hair, the last time I went to the Salon, the owner left the perm on my hair too long and that caused it to come out in lumps. She didn't say anything and I didn't know until I got home and started combing it! Never went back to her or anyone else!!! I do it myself!! I hope you have a better evening!

Not sure which is worse the truck or the bad hair day. If the truck has insurance and no one was hurt I think the bad hair wins.

Ok to top it off I just watched the news and we have a tropical storm heading toward us ROFL. Maybe it will also flood out the smashed truck and we can be sure to have the whole thing replaced. I am trying to have a very positive attitude but it aint working. Hey here is a positive. If we need to evacuate we only need to take one vehicle to safety :rotfl:

Hopefully your evening will be better. It is Friday. Fridays always make me feel better. Maybe you can have a relaxing weekend. And oh....you are going to WDW soon! That should at least give you a little comfort.

I HAVE IT....and on that note. Its not so bad. Haircolor, well, if she missed a few places it will look a little more natural cause no one has the same hair color all the way around their head naturally. As for the length, it will grow, and probably quicker cause it is so short.
The truck, hey, you will probably get a new one. Don't know how old it is, but if replacing the truck bed is 51% of the value, i'd demand a new one.

It could always be worse. Your internet could have been out for the increased credits contest. :sunshine2:

Oh, Janet, I am so sorry to here you had such a crappy day. I am glad though that Brandon is ok! And how crazy is it that thing is heading our way!! My fella is leaving for Atlanta in the am and I will be here with the kids all by myself.
If you would like a good laugh I had to go get the boat today and bring it home. I could not find my dad to help me and my oldest DS was at work. You should have seen me trying to get the boat on a trailor just me, Garrett(9) and my little Katie(2)!!! :rotfl: Finally a couple of guys came over to help after they had had a few laughs at my expense!! I am sure it was terribly funny to watch. This is how it went:: Park truck, kids out, on boat, life jackets on kids, drive boat around to launch, kids off boat, in truck, try to backup with trailor into water, kids out, back on boat, try to drive boat onto trailor, back off boat, try to adjust trailor, back on boat, back off boat

Are ya laughing at me yet!!!! :rotfl: I will probably be on youtube as Crazy Lady trying to get boat out of water!!!! :rotfl:

LOL Lydia. That is funny. It is almost how it went when I had to get the boat out of the water in Grand Isle by myself except I was driving a Super Duty F350 and couldn't see around the dual tires to see which way the tires on the trailer were going LOL. Well now I won't have that issue because I just saw the pictures of the truck and one half of the bed is crushed LOL I could see just fine now.

I do have to say when I was reading it and saw that a crane had run over his truck I first pictured a bird and wondered why that would be so bad unless it dumped a lot of nasty in the bed. As soon as I read the next part and understood it was construction equipment I agreed totally that your day was beyond awful.

Sorry Janet about your hair and DH's Truck V. Crane, At least it was not Denny Crane, from Bosten Leagl he would have shot the truck! Glad DH was not in Truck, and in the end Everyone is safe, and Hair and Truck can be fixed!
