CC, I agree!!! I told my husband that I couldn't wait for the new season because Cameron was going to be on there. He said, "Cameron, who" I said, oh, just one of the soap stars. When all I was thinking was that hunk from the soaps! He is such a cutie!!!:rotfl:

I would too, its always the first week of November, I think, but it seems we have just been there for the F&W festival. Maybe this year I can talk DH into just a day over there for it. Its only 1.5 hrs away.

That would be great. we just left WDW in July and we did Disneyland last summer. I think DH has had enough of Mickey for now. :rotfl: Unless, I talk him into going as an early anniversary trip! Hhmmm, that just might work. Maybe I need to get busy with that idea! :rotfl:

She actually did ok...personally, I can't stand her...and yes, she does look 50, even though she doesn't think so. She looked very eloquent dancing the fox trot, but i don't think the faster dances are going to be good for her. I was actually quite surprised at how well all the women did...except the model. Shes a hoot.

I'm not a Jane fan either because of my mom. LOL! But I was actually glad to see that she did well because her interview showed that she is really taking this seriously and working really hard at it.
The only one I was disappointed in last night was the model. And I was VERY impressed by the Cheetah Girl.

I thought Cameron did ok, he seems a little stiff, but all in all, pretty good, despite the fact of his childhood disease, which makes me want to root for him even more, knowing what a challenge he has.
The guys did ok, course, you know, in ballroom dancing, the girls have the flashy part, so they always seem to get more attention. None of the guys bowled me over like Mario or the lache buy or even Joey did, but we'll see next week, maybe they'll have a little action to their dances.

Does Wayne Newton's body look proportionately weird to anyone? Like his top half is a big rectangle or something? Something seems weird about it.
I thought that the boxer did better than they gave him credit for. He obviously worked hard. I don't think he was anywhere near as bad as the model girl.
I wasn't too excited before the season started but I really am now. So many of them really do seem to be working hard at it. And they seem to be enjoying themselves. It makes it fun to watch.

Well, tonight was no surprise. The female model bit the dust. Expected. That girl just couldn't move at all. Hopefully next week will be the male model, I don't like him a bit. When he first met his partner and called her "babe" I about went through the TV. I would have been like "babe this" and walked away. Anyway, its going to be an interesting year. No one is exceptional like in the last few years, I'm surprised the opening night scores were so high. I hope Cameron hangs in for a few weeks....love that smile and those eyes.

Was he really like this? oy! I was actually pulling for him, based ONLY on the snippet I saw of his interview and, yes, that is probably a totally visceral feeling, with absolutely no basis in reality, but I'd kill to look like that!

Every year there seems to be some upset, this year I guess its was her. Really, the bigger the fan base, the longer you have. Why don't someone get that Spice girl off there, she thinks shes all that and a bag of chips, and she isn't. Marie and Jane have a big fan base, Jenny I think probably a nice size too, and the women seem to love Helio (c'mon, compared to Cameron hes nothing) but, thats what is keeping them in. She was really surprised, everyone was, the look on the judges face was even unreal.

Sorry Cindy, I LOVE Mel B! Never paid attention to the Spice Girls, so I don't really have a pre-conceived notion of her, but that Paso last night was AWESOME, as was her Samba two weeks ago or so. (didn't care for the rhumba, but I don't really care for that dance, period).
I could tell something was going on with Sabrina and Mark almost from week one- you could just tell they were really hitting it off and flirting. They're cute together!

Ack I completely forgot that the results show was tonight LOL. I was watching the biggest loser and luckily I saw this thread so I would know the results. I can't believe that. He is obviously a better dancer than Marie and Jenny. I mean really! I think if had gotten a better partner who didn't make every dance and costume about her he would have done so much better. Every dance and costume she makes him look like a male ho! I think the Ventian Waltz they did last night was SO classy and beautiful.

Well, that just freed my Monday nights up, now I can watch "How I met your Mother"....cause if I have to keep watching that Spice girl shake her big ole booty, I'm gonna be ill. Shes obnoxious, and scary isn't the only word for her.

I actually think she's good. Early in the season, she seemed to have a lot of bad attitude. But I haven't noticed it lately.
Off topic...was anyone else totally surprised to see last night who Marie's partner is married to???

It's not a dance contest....it's a popularity contest, sorry to say! IMO, same thing happens with American Idol. :(

Oh ya, its definately a popularity contest. Maybe if the judges counted for 2/3 and the audience for 1/3, it would be better.

Well its over, Helio is the winner. Thats good. He really improved and his routines were actually pretty difficult for his level of dancing, but her did them and did them well. Course, it was my Cameron, but at least it wasn't that scary spice girl. :rotfl:

I was so glad to see that Helio won that I let out a "yes" so loud that I woke up ds! :rotfl: I am glad that the spice girl didn't win.

I'm glad he won, he deserved it and ended up being a pretty good dancer in the end and I just love Julianne, she is my favorite of all the professional dancers! :love:

I'm really glad Helio won!!! :) I'm also a Julianne fan as well, but Helio is such a cutie and seem genuinely happy about being there!
