Just wondering how many of you are bringing the kids? Originally I was going to go with a friend of mine (thought it might be too short of a trip to travel with my dd7 and dd4 - they will then be dd8 & dd5 when cruising -- ) and she just told me she doesn't think she can make it. So now, not wanting to miss out on this great cruise, I am rethinking about going with my girls. They are great travelers and have been to disney world over 6 times. We have wanted to do the cruise, but for some reason or other we haven't. Just this year we have been to WDW 3x and I think a change of pace would be great.
So back to my original reason for this post. How many of you will be bringing children and are any of you doing it without your spouse?
(I will be going with just my girls)
Thanks, Pamela

I wish I could take my kids, but can't. They absolutely cannot miss school. I let my daughter miss 3 days this year thinking nothing would be learned in the first week. Boy was I wrong. :(
It will be nice with just DH and myself, though. Next year, we'll take the kids on a longer cruise in the summer. Not sure I'd want to take them without DH. 4 kids and 1 parent would be too much for me. Lol. :)

I am not taking kids this time -- I'm going solo with a friend and leaving DH at home with the kids -- but we have taken them on a Disney cruise before. I wouldn't hesitate to take my 2 alone without DH. Disney makes everything so easy, and honestly the clubs saw them more than we did, LOL! I think you'll be fine.

I'll be bringing mine. At the time they will be DD5 and DD7. We've done both the 4 day and the 7 with them and they loved them both. :sunshine:

I am taking my 3, and even braving it out with 2 toddlers but I know they will have fun in the camp. They will be 11, 3 and 23 months the time of the cruise. Im still trying to talk grandma into coming since we have 2 cabins but she hasnt made up her mind yet.

So glad to hear that there will be other Sunshiners bringing their kids. I know my girls will love it, but was worried that it may be too short of a trip for them to relax, but hey you're right it is disney and they do make it very easy to just 'have fun' and relax (well for me disney is relaxing.....no laundry, no cooking, no carpooling!!). The having fun part is a piece of cake.
thanks, pamela
