Did anyone else get sucked into the Bachelor yet?

I told myself I wasn't getting sucked in before this season started and what did I watch when I got home last night. Yup the Bachelor. This guy is cute (wouldn't say the cutest one) but he seems a bit too small town to me (hokey maybe??). I couldn't get over the girl who lost her fake boob last night. It was pretty funny.

It just happened to be on my tv while I was working and I inadvertently started to watch it. I don't need anymore tv shows. LOL! But it was so funny (and so intriguing about the girl that gets hurt in the future episode) that I may not be able to help myself.

her and that pretzel girl weirded me out. I so forgot about the webbed feet for a minute. The yellow rose girl should not have sung a song either. It was brave of her but she just wasn't very easy on the ears.

2. What goes through these girls heads when they start showing off their "talents" to this man? Webbed toes, pretzel, inability to carry a note in a paper bag. Is it the alcohol, being on TV or just being touched in the head?

I'm glad yall joined me in not resisting the show.

1. He was on the local tv station this morning without the scruffy stuff and I think a shorter hair cut and he wasn't so attractive. I think he is one of the few guys out there where the rugged cowboy look works for him.

2. I have no idea besides trying to stand out from the rest. I need to reread the recap on ABC.com to see if these girls made it through to next week. I think the bad singer did. I know the boob girl did not. She would have been interesting.

Not only did I get sucked into watching it but Monday night I had a dream that the bachelor was coming over to my house for a date. He showed up with a single red rose but he didn’t ask me 'will you except this rose'…ha-ha. I told my DH about about the dream he said…dream on.

Aw...my husband sometimes sports the scruffy look and I love it. I think it can be quite attractive on the right guy!

This show is one of my guilty pleasures, so I have definitely been sucked in by the first episode. It's so hokey and bad and pure cheez, but I love it! I love following along in the televisionwithoutpity.com forums. For me, the funniest part was this little exchange during the initial just-out-of-the-limo meet:

GIRL (I think it was Jade): You have the prettiest eyes!

The new guy is cute, but I thought the last bachelor was cuter. It will be interesting to see what happens because none of the girls really stood out to me. I'm worried that the girl in the pool (give me a break BTW!!!) made the biggest impression on him!

I respectfully disagree. I think he showed that he was not going to go the easy route and just propose to one and then dump them after the show like every other bachlor has done. You could tell he didn't have true feelings for either at the end so I think he made the right choice.

If only those 2 girls would wake up and thank him tomorrow night I'd be happy but based on the clips I don't see that happening.

It seems like a totally crazy premise. Date all these women at one time and weed them down to two with very few dates, now ask one to marry you. I feel bad for the woman they really get their hopes up.

anyone watching tonight - the after the final rose show?

I can't tell if Deanna is really in love or just that desperate for a boyfriend/husband that she'd be willing to take Brad back if he admitted he made a mistake.

I think its because Chris came out attacking him tonight and man did Deanna lay into him. She just wants to hear him say I made a mistake take me back and he just didn't love her or Jenni (and never will) and neither one can understand that.

I caught bits and pieces of the show over the length it was on. I did watch most of the final rose & after the rose. The one thing that I thought was odd last night was him saying that he thought about her "Deanne" every day. He also made a strange comment about his problems.

But, having said that, how can someone "date" all those women at the same time, then fall in love and have to choose between two of them in the end. 6 weeks - it's possible but given the structure of the show, highly improbable. And I didn't think he was all that good looking either.

I got sucked into this one because Deanna has been living in my hometown and was the bartender at a sports bar type place across the road from where I work. No, I did not know her, but everybody in town kept talking about it. So, I started watching. Maybe I'm not a romantic or something, but I thought the whole thing was quite silly. I guess our town will take any type of fame it can get!
