Lost Season 4 will start the last wed of January and run its 16 ep season with out interruption feb-may and that is how the next and last 3 season will be!

I had not realized that yet! That really really sucks. That is one of our favorites. My husband and I actually both like this show. WAAAA :cry: :cry: (that is me and my husband crying in unison)

i think it returns near when 24 returns.

i am a jack bauer fanatic, i would let him protect me any day. but now sawyer, well i won't mention what i would let him do. (is this too much info?)

I can handle waiting for 24, I love Jack too! Poor guy, he has the worst luck doesn't he?! All these bad days!!

But waiting for Lost until January is just plain ol' mean! Thank goodness I have my Heroes on Mondays & I'm going to watch Life tonight...perhaps that will tide me over????

I am a big fan of lost, but i just find it funny that abc/disney set a clock on one of its hit tv shows of only 48 eps and 16 ep seasons for the next three years! Mabey they will change their minds and the show will get picked up longer!

Not an issue of the show getting picked up, but the writers said this is how much longer they need to completely wrap up all the story lines and the overall idea of the island and what's going on there. Honestly I think we're lucky we're getting it for a few more years, it's one of the MOST expensive shows on TV to make.

Love, love, love, love it! I know many feel frustration not getting answers, but if we had the answers the show would be over!! :0) So I'm all for the confusion!

Anyone know when the 3rd season is coming out on DVD??

I LOVE Lost....It is one of the few shows I actually watch on primetime and waiting until January really stinks:( Whatever happened to the good old days when tv shows ran from Sept/Oct to May with no huge breaks in between?? I swear when I was a kid there was an occasional rerun on during the season and a show wasnt on if it was pre-empted by something like the olympics or elections but it is agony having a show end in May and not return until January. Waiting through the summer is hard enough. I have no patience at all.

Yes. The creators of Lost have made it clear from the beginning that there is a definitive end to the series. They even joke about it by calling season 7 the zombie season. Personally, I would have rather they not drag out the series for 3 years. They really could just wrap it up in 2 years(24 epi. each). But, ABC wants to make as much money as possible so they're gonna stretch it out.

BTW, the show creators, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, have a podcast that gives a lot of insight into the show. They answer fan questions and provide a lot of information(some of it spoilerish) if you are interested.

I love Lost, it is one of the few shows that I have found myself engrossed in. Have to watch it. If we are going to gone for the night, we record it. Gotta Love Tivo. :sunshine:

We love lost here too! Like another poster said it is one of the few shows me and my dh watch together. We were at Disney when the season finale aired and when we go back home it was the first thing he wanted to do. Watch the lost he had missed! :rotfl:

I still am in a daze that I have to wait until January. I personally am glad they have an end in sight. I don't want them ruining the show by dragging it on and on. This way I know they are doing everything for a real reason.

I definitely like Sawyer more than I use to. He has softened up a bit from the beginning of the show. However, I still want kate and Jack together. Can't wait to find out what happens!!!!
