Anyone here follow college football? I see alot of NFL'ers, but no college football talk. I am a HUGE college fan, could waste Saturdays away watching it on tv, especially SEC. Love Carolina Gamecocks win or lose ( and we have had so much experience in the later). But we have the ole ball coach now, so maybe that can change. The other team I follow closely is Kansas State as my uncle used to be ROTC instructor there.

yeah!! A college fan! The Badgers recently played one of our local teams, The Citadel. So how do you think they'll do against Penn? I pick the Badgers, seeing as they are ranked #5 right now.

As long as their defense shows up, I think they'll be alright. They've been giving up some big plays.

I'm not a huge fan but I am finally starting to support my college team (I hated football in college but Mike loves it so I'm trying to catch on). Hopefully we will beat up on Florida pretty good this weekend. I got my LSU tshirt in the mail yesterday. Geaux Tigers!!! Go whoever is playing USC!

We will be watching LSU/Florida and even though Tigers beat us again this year, we are pulling for you guys to beat Florida too!! USC played and won against Kentucky last night --woo hoo-- finally in the top ten! Now if only we can beat up on Fla in a few weeks and win the SEC east, then we'll be seeing you again in Dec!!

I was sad that I missed your USC game. (I hate that other USC team that whines and cries to get pieces of championships they don't earn....). I think we get to beat up on Kentucky next weekend. :)

So glad that someone else sees that about the other USC. Kentucky will be a piece of cake, I think all the attention is getting to the players. Good luck tonight vs Florida. Take care of Tebow for us!!:rotfl:

Tennessee finally showed up and played today! Now if Lsu will take care of Florida we will might have a chance at the SEC title game. But then we will have to play LSU and there is no way UT could beat them. But it would be nice to be in the championship. Geaux Tigers!

OMG that was quite a game. I was having mini heart attacks throughout especially with all those 4th downs. My Tigers were not looking like the team they have been all season long so I hope they fix that by next game.

Thank god USC lost and we can finally be #1!!! I did click over on ESPN and of course it is quite the whine fest with the USC loss.

WOW!! What a game! And to top it off with the ESPN media darlings losing too!! Looks like the rest of your season should be a breeze. Congrats tiger fans and I hope to be matched up with you guys again in December.

I've been pulling for the Bulls this year. I think its great to see some new teams doing well for a change. Looks like you'll be heading to the Top 5 this week!!

Penn State fan here

It's really good to see Penn State bouncing back from the slump you had a few years ago. Paterno still has a little bit left in him yet! Can't imagine it any other way.

Looks like we might be battling it out for the SEC in a few weeks!! BTW -- although I really am a fan of Manning now, back when he was at Tennessee, we wished every year that he would go pro. Nobody could contain him-just a beast!!

I am so upset. I didn't get to watch the game but the first few minutes I saw looked like the same tigers that barely beat Florida not the tigers that ran over VT earlier this season. At least Cal lost too so now its just Ohio State and Boston College left that needs to lose one. I hope this was our only loss this season. At least Kentucky had to earn it in 3 overtimes. That made me feel a teeny bit better.

sammielynn
10-15-2007, 08:30 AM
Kentucky use to be on of those games that was a instant win, sort of like an instant SR credit. And now they go and beat LSU! That sure scared the pants off the folks here in Tennessee.

Congrats on the win. I am rather heartbroken over it but it seems like it would have been a great game to watch with the high scores and triple overtime. I am feeling a bit better since LSU only fell to 4 & 5 and USC fell again even with a win. As long as my purple and gold still have a shot then I'm good.

Good thing they are on thier home turf at least the will have somegood ole' boys ( and rednecks.lol) there rootin for them. Last week I found out through a freind - her husband's boss gave him 5 tickets on the 50 yd line! He gave them back becuase of a wedding at our church. Well I whopped him and told him that I would have gone to the GAME. Oh well. No kidding. I am tired of the stress they are causing me and the down to the wire stuff is going to catch up like at Kentucky and cost them their chance this year. I'm all for gutsy play calling but give it a rest sometimes and just run up the score early guys!

Now I have to be very honest, SC did as much to help Tennessee win as Tennessee did. It was sort of a strange game.

jakeandsophiesmom
10-28-2007, 12:28 PM
Agreed. Very strange game indeed. The turnovers just killed us and I can't believe our FG kicker missed after kicking a 48 yarder! DH is still griping, but that's a man for ya:rotfl: I hate the loss, but I try to look at the positive sides. No moral victory here(as we are often teased about), but just five years ago our team would have folded and we would have lost by 50. I think we actually did and had guys on the sidelines talking on cell phones. I am just glad the team now is getting a winners mentality even though we may not be winning.:)

Looks like you guys will be on your way to battle LSU in December. Congrats!

We still have to get by Vandy and KY. They are both playing well. I really don't want to play LSU, don't think that will be pretty. I lost a bet on the LSU game last year and ended up singing "Hey, fighting Tigers" at a banquet with over 950 people there. Oh, the shame.............

jakeandsophiesmom
10-28-2007, 02:33 PM
You poor thing!

As I see it, as long as everyone stays focused and someone steps up on pass defense, you should be fine. I see Kentucky as the decisive game, Woodson is a good QB when he has his head in the game. Hopefully you won't have to go through another game like last night. If you don' t want to play LSU, we'll gladly take your place!:rotfl: We'd love a rematch.

mia214jia

Well we just couldn't get it done, but what disappoints me more is the fans that left the stadium. It was almost empty by the end of the game. I have never left a game, win or lose, with the exception of being pregnant and the heat getting to me. Just inexcusable to me. I may poke fun of my beloved Lamecocks, but I never give up on them! I also can't believe Meyer running up the score with less than two minutes to go and a fourteen point lead. Why do that? Now we get a much needed week off before we play our rivals, Clemson.

Congrats LSU fans, hope you enjoyed your relaxing win tonight!! Looking forward to another SEC team winning the title!:)

Thanks for rooting for us last night. I think its great to have a group of ladies to talk football to and even though we all have different teams we don't get ugly and we still root for each other, except when we play each other. I used to read all the SEC team's forums and the people on there just get so nasty. I actually read a post a few years ago that said all people in SC were uneducated hillbillies that married their cousins. :( I had to quit reading them.

I think we will have a good team in another year or two. Right now Spurrier is still playing with a lot of Holtz's recruits, so I think when he has all of his own players we will be better. I am afraid though that if Spurrier can't get it done, no one can. We've had two high caliber coaches come in and still the same mediocre team. But I still love my Gamecocks win or lose!:)

Well I'm for anyone in the SEC that is not playing LSU. A win for the SEC is a win for all of us. I just get so mad when the announcers act as if the SEC isn't a good enough conference compared to the PAC-10, Big 10, or Big 12. It gets so frustrating because each team in the SEC if they were in another conference would be the champs but instead they all beat up on one another and have less than perfect records each year.

Not a good thing to be #2 -- 5 teams at #2 have lost this year!

SEC game i think will be either GA or TN-if TN wins out then it will be them, if not then GA but they both have to play Kentucky. Then again this year they both could lose the rest and FL jump back in it. It wouldn't surprise me the way it has gone so far.

Have you seen Kansas's schedule? They haven't played anyone this year - 1 ranked team so far and one next week. I don't think they stand a chance against Mizzou but if they did they won't stand up against OU in their conference champ game (gosh will it even be OU now).

2007 Kansas Schedule

I'm with you in thinking KU will be exposed. And with Texas Tech, I have noticed that they are always a team not to be overlooked.

BTW what are your thoughts on the rumors about Miles possibly going to Mich, if Lloyd Carr retires? I don't see it happening.

I don't like the rumors and they have been making me upset all year long! I think the contract clause might make him double think leaving but I also think that if he wants to leave bad enough the Michigan alums will come up with $1.25M to pay LSU off. From what I've heard/read he and his family seem happy in BR so that is good but I also remember another head coach saying that and then calling a Christmas Morning news conference to announce his departure to the Dolphins...

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Spurrier has been rumored to be leaving us ever since we got him. He's actually been mentioned to be one in the running for LSU if Miles leaves, along with Saban. I hope both coaches stay put for awhile. Miles makes it interesting with some of his more daring playcalling.

Well reading the comments on ESPN.com (I know not the most trustworthy bunch) it seems like UM is not one to buy out coaching contracts and it would be up to Miles to pay LSU back like the head basketball coach at UM is doing. It shall be interesting.

I don't know if BR would ever be able to accept Spurrier as the head coach. I would with open arms but there are not that many in town that like him. The UF-LSU rivalry was fierce back then and even now still is a tad.

Did you hear Tubberville is thinking about going to TX A&M? I am surprised over that one. Why in the world would he want to leave Auburn to go to A&M who never does anything.

jakeandsophiesmom

I hadn't heard about Tubberville and A&M. He could still be upset with Auburn talking to Bobby Petrino a few years ago while he was still head coach. why any coach would want to leave a top notch program in the SEC and go elsewhere is beyond me.

I am heartbroken but we really sucked it up yesterday. Our QB was only 7 for 22 in the entire first half which does not win football games. We also had a few costly mistakes such as simple formation mistakes that called back a good touchdown.

Ok so now that I've covered that I'm going to whine for a few haha
1. Michigan:
Was it really necessary for Carr to announce his retirement this week? Our players have lost almost all confidence in Miles because he is going to pull a Saban on them before the bowl game and leave us high and dry and that will be the 2nd time to happen to most of these players.

2. Arkansas:
What the heck kind of offence was that that Arkansas runs? I don't understand any quarterback that would want to play over there. I mean over half the game the kid sat out until 3rd down because they'd hike to the RB to either run/pass/throw it to someone. Then the whole run up to formation and then snap the ball. I wish the officials would have timed them more often to see if they were meeting the 1 second minimum. And finally my last beef with Arkansas. They should not have been allowed that timeout at the end of the game where LSU had a touchdown recalled. That was pure crap on both Arkansas's side and the officials.

ok whining over. Thanks for being an LSU fan yesterday. :)

Catherine, I totally agree with you on the Michigan thing. I really think the players for LSU got the shaft on that one. Who can play their best when you aren't sure what's going to happen with your future? With the time out issue -- I am seeing more coaches use it this year and 1. it's just lousy and 2. it doesn't seem to work. I don't like that coaches can have their "own personal" ref stand by his side ala Meyer at Fla and Nutt at Ark. I was glad you guys scored a TD anyway. Lastly I don't understand the ARk offense either--I can't see this year why they even have a QB. I didn't see the entire game so I don't know about the timing, but I do know that McFadden and Jones are tough to stop when they have the ball. Let me add that I think McF's chances at Hesiman were probably lost last night with Nutt's ranting after the game. I for one will be glad if he leaves Ark, I have no use for the man.

Again, I am so sorry you guys lost, never would have expected it. BTW whine all you want to or need to, we'll listen!!:)

We do have a lot of young players so hopefully Ol' Ball can work his magic on them. I do feel really bad though for the seniors, especially one, Cory Boyd, who played with his heart and soul every game, every play. Broke my heart to see him in tears after the game, knowing that it was probably the last college game he would play. Man I just hate losing to our rivals!!

Anyway, I saw this thread, and I do like coll football much better than pros, so thought I'd say something here. I'm a Nebraska fan - grew up corn-fed! I suppose one thing a lot of Neb fans gave thanks for was the merciful end of the Callahan era here - wow, the team got smacked around like never before this year, tho the offense wasn't so bad. Wonder who Osborne will hire?
It has been a very interesting year overall - esp considering Missouri is now#1!
Will be fun to see how it all falls out --:)

Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip. It will be nice to have you posting a lil more since we are all mostly SEC peeps around here.

I have heard yall are after our Defensive Coordinator. I haven't heard if he's strongly considering it or not.

Ole Miss hired a coach today -> Arkansas' Coach Nutt. I didn't realize he had some scandals over at Arkansas which drove him to step down. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hi,

Yeah, there is a LOT of talk about Pelini up here - a lot of people who thought he should have gotten more of a look after Solich was canned. I dunno but what
it has been good for him to get more experience first tho. I guess they're looking at some other guys too - I sure hope Osborne gets one who'll get those guys to play as a 'team' and play tougher defense (Neb only had one of the worst defenses in the country, good grief:sick: ).
I guess there was a lot of fuss about Mustain transferring, Malzahn going to Tulsa, maybe because Nutt wasn't letting them do things more the way they wanted. Also, Ark didn't win like people thot. So Hogs fans seemed to be put out
at Nutt - they thot he was a nutcase, I guess:rotfl:! Nutt already got a new job tho - at Ole Miss, I think.
So, m 'n c - are you a LSU fan, live in Louisiana or where?

Lanny

sammielynn
11-27-2007, 04:27 PM
Yes, m 'n c is a LSU fan!
Here is what ESPN said about Nutt:
Nutt was hired in December 1997 to replace Danny Ford. Arkansas has never won the SEC in football -- the Razorbacks first played in the league in 1992.

A year ago at this time, Arkansas was preparing to play for the SEC title game. In fact, the Razorbacks started 10-1 in 2006. Then they lost to LSU, to Florida for the conference championship and to Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl.

Nutt's status was never the same afterward. In January, offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn left to join the staff at Tulsa, lending credence to speculation that not everyone was on the same page. A short while later Mustain left the team to transfer.

Malzahn and Mustain were both highly touted additions in 2006 from Springdale High School near Fayetteville. When they left, Nutt had an uphill climb to win back the fan base. Fans used the Freedom of Information Act to investigate his cell phone records. As the team struggled this year, planes were spotted at games towing anti-Nutt banners.

A friend of Nutt's family sparked a controversy when she sent Mustain a nasty e-mail before he transferred. A fan has since sued the school over the e-mail.

I am a 2x LSU alum! I'm in Houston now and don't make it back to any of the games but I do tend to show up at the local buffalo wild wings each week to watch them.

I don't know much about Pelini and his track record. I know most of the defensive line were recruited and coached by Saban who was a defensive coordinator before becoming a head coach and was pretty known for his defense. So I'm not sure if Pelini is just as good or if the talent kept him going strong here at LSU. Either way I wish him luck because I know that most coaches want to be a head coach not an assistant and you usually have to move around to get promoted.

Hi,
I've been gone for a wk, as we 4 went to Calif to see my husband's folks - but when you are brand new, probly not many notice if you don't post for a wk!:) Had an awesome time, as they live on the beach - Morro Bay - and there's lots to see and do there.

Hi Lanny, glad you joined us! Always nice to have another football girl here!!:) Hope you guys can get a coach that can bring back that feared Nebraska team!

Well, it's certainly been a wild year in college football. And now all these coaching changes. Whew!! I would love for the DAWGS to be able to play in the Rose Bowl. That would definitely be different. Anyway, we will all have to wait until the weekend to see how everything shakes out. Good luck to all!!

m 'n c and sammielynn -- You ladies ready for some football!!!! Best of luck to both of you this afternoon. The rest of us get to relax today-well I do sort of. I'll be rooting for our local high school, Byrnes, as they are playing for their fourth state champ. in five yrs and working their way back up the rankings. We are #21 in country now, after being 2 last year and losing. They are playing in the Gamecocks stadium, so maybe one of my teams can win there!!:rotfl:

And now LSU joins the coaching saga:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3136391

I knew it was coming when Nebraska named Pelini the next head coach over there yesterday.

I'm not expecting a win today after this news was leaked out. I'm sure the players all heard it and have their own thoughts/feelings about Miles and Co. I just hate how coaches do this during the season when its the most important time to win.

jakeandsophiesmom
12-01-2007, 12:31 PM
I don't think it's right either. I really think they should wait until Jan to do all the coaching changes b/c of the impact it can have on the players. It's not fair to them.
Sorry you guys are gonna lose Miles, I thought he was a gutsy coach. But word around here is that Spurrier is REALLY wanted at LSU and the thing that makes us nervous is that the President there now is the one that had a hand in hiring him at Florida. Spurrier says that he's staying b/c he wants to coach our new QB, Garcia, but we've all heard the "I'm staying" speech before.
Hope your guys can shake it off and focus and give us all a great game today!:)

Hi ladies,

Lots of talk/speculation/rumor flying about these days!
Guess Miles got bothered by the talk he was going to Mich - who really knows if he actually planned on it, seems sort of like rumor was reported as fact.
Also, Nebraska has not officially named any new coach - Osborne has his lips sealed until next week, he said. So - maybe some somewhere don't?! Or maybe it's just another rumor being reported as fact. For me, the real announcement, the only one I'll believe, will come from Osborne - and it may or may not be Pelini. We'll see, Monday maybe!
Whatever the case, I'm pulling for LSU today! Also for Missouri, because it would be a great thing for them to get to the Natl champ game, since they've not had that chance in eons.

Have fun!:) lanny

Sometimes it all comes down to who is closer to the bowl, so they bring more fans, which means more money. This is the second time we've lost out to Bama for a bowl, and the bowl reps obviously don't know our fans. We would go anywhere to see our team in a bowl b'c it doesn't happen that often.

Hi,

well, another interesting football saturday - i'm glad LSU won, but Mizzou and WVU sure stunk it up. So after all the wacky things and losses that have happened, there's still a traditional sort of matchup for Natl champ game. I think LSU earned it and will probly win - wonder if Pelini will be there for that?!
I'm not all surprised he's the new coach at Neb, it's what I thot - but I wonder why ESPN thot they had to get the jump on it and report it before it was officially announced? I mean, let it actually be news when it is announced!!

So we'll wait for next year - and check out everybody else's bowl games!

Ugh--sometimes its so blatantly obvious too! I don't know if anyone noticed in the WV-Pitt game how the refs were calling "phantom" penalties on Pitt and WV would have "in your face" penalties and no calls. The refs really needed WV to win so they could go to the game and they get paid more.

jakeandsophiesmom

He is the Clemson coach. He previously coached at Tulane and he was an assistant under his brother Terry at Auburn before that. He's a good coach but his attitude stinks. Appears that he started talking to Ark yesterday while the AD was out of town and they are willing to pay him double what he's making at Clemson.

m 'n c
12-04-2007, 10:16 AM
I just knew I knew that name from Fulane (our official slogan for Tulane a play on moving 2 letters around but would have to go through pm ;) ). I don't remember him doing much in Tulane or giving us much fits during the few years there so I'll just hope that he does the same at Ark if that's where he ends up.

jakeandsophiesmom
12-04-2007, 11:07 AM
You've piqued my interest about the slogan. Bowden's 2nd and last year at Tulane they went undefeated and were ranked in the top 10, but still, it's Tulane. Looking more like its going to happen as the AD has already returned to talk with him and left again and no announcement that he's staying. It will def. be interesting to see how he does in the SEC if he does indeed go to Ark.

jakeandsophiesmom

Yeah I'm not surprised. I know it was not even drafted as of Saturday so its either that being the hold up or him talking with Michigan. At this point I could care less what he decides. Just don't screw up the championship game for us!

dawgsgirl
12-04-2007, 07:37 PM
I keep hearing that he is going to Michigan, just after the title game. Who knows?? Coaches come and go and most of the time it really does not matter. We all still loves our teams no matter what. Even with playing Hawaii in the Sugar, the DAWGS allotment of 22,000 tickets sold out in less than 2 hours. I heard there will be more available since Hawaii probably won't sell all theirs. The coach has called for another Black-out, so the Dome should be mostly black for the game. Not sure if I like that or not. Just hope those rainbow warriors don't embarass us!

sammielynn

I wonder if Michigan will wait that long though. I thought I heard recruiting for football will be starting up soon and that was why there was all the speculation in November and why the other coach retired so early was so that they could hire someone new before the end of the year.

Thought I would share something I read yesterday about the Les Miles situation. A MI paper reported that it was a done deal through his agent/manager and an assistant to the AD at MI. He could not do a sit down interview until after the game so there was no contract. Herbstreit made the mistake of telling the uppers at ESPN what he had heard and they told him he had to report it. When he did that forced LSU's hand to sweeten Miles's deal to stay and that's when he had his news conference to deny it. A lot of people think that his choice of words that he will be coaching next year at LSU will give him a way to back out. LSU was pretty much a shoe in for a bowl game that would be played in 08.

I understand why MI wants to get a new coach in there but I think it is wrong to be able to talk to coaches (or their managers) when they still have a season to finish. I feel for the players and fans at LSU. Even if he stays this has become the story for the rest of the season. That's not fair to the hard work that they've done this year.

That being said, I know this isn't a popular stance on here but GO BUCKEYES! I am excited that we made it back into the championship game. What year in college football. Who would have thought at the start of the season that this is where Ohio State would be. It's going to be a tough game and I don't know that OSU can beat LSU but I have my fingers crossed it's better than last year. I guess it wouldn't take much for it to be better :)O-H

Thanks, because we are going to need it!! :) I just can't bring myself to root for Ohio State or MSU, ever! :rotfl:

I agree with you though, the Big 10 has been looking pretty shabby the last few years when bowl season rolls around.

Trust me, bowl season is the only time I root for Michigan!!!:rotfl:

I just worry the way the analysts have been talking this year that we may find an undefeated Big 10 Champ sitting out the NCG while teams with losses play. The way ESPN has talked all year I really wonder if a Big 10 team will be in Hawaii's shoes in a couple of years. It seems like even when you win they come up with a reason why it wasn't good enough.

Well the contract extension was signed today. Still doesn't guarantee he's not going to bolt come Jan 8th.

Looks like most of the coaching changes are being resolved finally. We lost our defensive coord. (yeah!) and looks like we'll be getting GA's old def. co., Brian VanGorder. Hope he does better than what we've had since Charlie Strong left.

Anyway --everybody ready for some more college football!!!! (I am totally missing my football Saturdays)

I am missing my Saturdays too. My friend just invited me to do that Bowl Madness thing on ESPN.com. I know who to pick in the big bowls and SEC played bowls but I don't know about the rest.

You know I was thinking about seeing if anyone on here wanted to do a pick 'em type thing just for the fun of it. No prizes, just the title of Queen of College Football for a year.

I'm missing my football as well. I've resorted to watching games that have already been played because I just can't get into basketball. There is nothing on TV on the weekend and you just don't realize it during football season.

I'm the exact same way! I either watch games that have been DVR'ed or watch SportSouth for some of their classic games. Doesn't matter who it is, just so long as it's a college game. And NFL games just don't seem to be as exciting as they used to be. Are we just freaks of the female world?!?:rotfl:

Yes, I am addicted to college football and I am a freak ! :)

I can't stand to watch NFL games anymore. They're all too afraid of getting hurt to play all out which is understandable, just not fun to watch. I also can't stand the dancing, show boating and smack talking that they do on and off the field. I watched a behind the game thing one day and they have this huge computer hub set up on the sidelines that they figure out plays and probabilities and all kinds of stuff. It doesn't even seem like football anymore.:(

So glad I'm not the only one out there!! Some of my DH's friends won't even talk football with me b/c they are intimidated by me! One even went so far as to try to push me to go to his house and visit his wife during our rivalry game. I don't think so!!

And the NFL--it just doesn't seem the same without the big name players like Elway, Marino, Montana. The players now seem to be more like actors/entertainers than football players. College is where the heart of football is right now.

A few of weeks ago my husband called and asked"Who is that big Ohio State linebacker?" I replied "James Laurinaitis?" kind of shocked he didn't know. Then he asked who Ohio State needed to win that weekend to move up in the polls again. This was the week of the Kansas/MO thing so I gave him a couple of scenarios we needed to happen in the next couple of weeks. Then he said thanks and hung up. The whole conversation was weird and I knew he knew the answers so I thought something was up.

When he got home I kept asking about it and he was acting funny. Finally he admitted that they were out to lunch and no one believed that his wife knew about football. So he called me and had me on speaker phone to prove that I knew what I was talking about. He didn't want me to know because I HATE speaker phones and he didn't want me to be mad!

At his work Christmas party some guy walked up behind me and said "Go Buckeyes" and said he knew all about me. I guess I was the only wife that watches football.

I am missing my football too!! I guess we are really weird. My mother is 74 and she is much worse than I am!! Our youth minister at church is a Gamecock, and my mother taped some cartoon on his office door when South Carolina played Florida. To this day, he will not believe that some little sweet old lady would do that and blames it on me! I always look forward to the college season and always miss it when it is over. I will say this was a GREAT season with lots of surprises. I am already pumped for next year! GO DAWGS!!!

You will love VanGorder! Our defense has not been the same since he left. He was a huge plus in our program. I am so jealous that you all got him!

I was so hoping to hear from you about VanGorder! I've read and heard good things about him but it's always nice to hear from someone who knows his abilities. Now if we can just keep the chicken curse from overcoming him, we'll be good!

So far it's just us SEC girls. I'm sure Dawg will join when she sees it. Anyone at SR can join as long as they have the password. I decided to keep it private so we didn't get any jerks in on it. Think we should make a separate post so more people can join in if they want?

Yeah start a new thread maybe tell people to pm one of us for the password? i don't know if we want to keep it posted on here.
