If it weren't for bad luck, I'd sure not have any at all. Thank heaven it was just a second tv, but out on the lanai and this is the time of year we watch it alot. I have to say, we got a good deal replacing it. We went to Kmart and they had a Toshiba, 27" for 299.00. Its a flat screen. With the friends and family discount, it would come to 269.00. Well, they didn't have any, so she sold us the one off the floor for 189.00. It gets better. We came home and hooked it up and the speakers sounded awful. I called the store and she told me to return it to a different Kmart, and they gave me a brand new one in the box. We brought it home, guess what, it wasn't the speakers. It has something to do with our hookup. So, now we have to figure that problem out. Always somethng.

You are having the kind of year I had, last year. I ordered wood floors, for the living rm, then I broke my ankle and was off work for 3 months. Went back to work, decided to replace the roof and the SAME day they started installing the roof, my heater/ac went out and had to be replaced. A few wks later, I busted the heater to the pool because I thought I was being smart (and, frugal) by not closing the pool. I was just going to run the pump when it went below freezing (doesn't happen alot, here, in TN). Lots of my friends have been doing it for yrs. I am the only one with a heater. Ran the pump, forgot all about the heater. Duh!
My roof did end up being covered by my insurance, so there was a silver lining in all the gloom. And, I have decided to replace the pool heater with a pool heater/chiller. Weather was too hot to swim in hot water, this yr, so the chiller will be nice.
Hope ya'll manage to work the kinks out of your tv problem, soon. Watching tv on the lanai sounds cozy.

Cindy, sounds like yall have the same luck as us. IT is always something dying around here and needing to be replaced. It is just non-stop, no sooner do we get one thing replaced than it is something else. :(
At least you got an amazing deal on the TV. :sunshine:
