I'm going to Holland!

Woohooo! I get to go on a river cruise in Holland and Belgium this spring. Which means I get to see the tulip fields when they are all in bloom!

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to pay for it!

You will absolutely love it! I went there 2 1/2 years ago, at the end of April and beginning of May. Make sure you look out the airline window. You can see the rows of flowers from the air!:sunshine:

Very cool. I've always wanted to travel somewhere other than the US. Never have. I have seen something on the Travel Channel about Holland and saw pictures/videos of the tulips. It looked gorgeous. And I am sure it is nothing like it will be in person! Have fun planning!

How beautiful is that going to be!! Tulips are my favorite flowers!

My cousin lived in Brussells for 2 years and said it is just beautiful in the spring (winter not so much though!)

Okay I have a few more details. The cruise is called Tulip Time (how appropriate!)

We will be there for 7 full days (plus 2 days travel) and will see Amsterdam, Arnhem, Middleburg, Rotterdam, Kinderdijk, Keukenhof Gardens, Volendam and Edam. In Belgium we will see Antwerp and Ghent.

So sounds like I'll see boats and windmills, cheese and pottery, flowers, diamonds and countryside.
