O.k, so some of you know that my husband talked me into driving 19 hours to Disney just for the p&pparty, so here's how it went. We left Thurs 2-7 after the girls got out of school and I was nervous about how they would be in a car for this long, I couln't have asked for them to be any better, I mean they were perfect, they slept half the trip about 10 hours, only asked once how much longer and did not fight once (a mircle) I knew they would find a way to get me later.:rotfl: O.k. so we get there and check in. This was our first time staying off property and it just wasn't the same to me, but we were just there in Dec. for a week and are going on the cruise in Oct. so we were going for cheap, but anyways dh is beyond tired since he didn't want to stop at a hotel, so he takes a nap and the girls and I hit the the pool, arcade, and went mini. golfing. So he wakes up and we're off to find dd9 a costume, which I was nervous about since it's Feb. not Oct. the place the hotel gave us says they are open till 7, so we get there 5:45 and there closed, we call and machine says to 7, but whatever. So we decide to try again tomorrow, and head off to dtd for earl of sandwich (yum), hit a couple of gift shops, and back to the hotel to call it a night.

Sat the day of the party.

So we sleep in a little, just cearal in the room and went on our search of a costume. My dh found some differnt place on the internet and within 10 min. find a store and a costume.:) The girls decided that they wanted to go back to dtd and get some ice cream and dd10 finally gave in and bought a pothc bag she's been eyeing since we were there in Dec. (she's always over thinking)which is a good thing I guess, since it keeps her from buying needless junk. Back to the hotel for a little swimming and then off to the party. We see the disney world enterence and start clapping. As soon as we get there some lady starts screaming about how she paid good money to be there and how dare they tell her she has to leave at 7 and can't stay for the party. They tried explaining to her that she was welcome to stay, but would need to buy a ticket for the party, that just set her off, I felt so sorry for her children, they looked mortified. So into the party we go, we're early so still plenty of people in the park, but the lines were only about 10 min.,once the party started they were all walk on. We had so much fun as always, although we were disapointed that they didn't give out candy this time, they said they have alot of complaints about that and were sure it would back. DD10 was having some stomch pains at the beginning, but we got her so pepto and was feeling better in about half an hour, just in time to see Captian Jack (the love of her life) I would've been just heart broken if she wasn't feeling better and didn't get to see him.

Time to go home.

This is always such a sad time, but it's even worse knowing your going home to about 10 degrees. Remember when I said my kids would find a way to get me later for how perfect they were on the way there, not that they were really bad, but it was just none stop talking and giggling, and they were just so loud, this was my clue that we weren't there long enough, usaully there dead tired at the end of the trip. My dh could see the I was losing it and decided to check in to a hotel for the night. He took the kids swimming so I could have some time for myself, I really do love him. So we finally make it home and he asked when I'm going to start planning the trip, this is not a question to ask a woman who just spend 40 hours in a car driving to and from florida, but I must say I'd do it again in a min.:)

Thank you for listening and I'm sorry if I rambled on.
