My DD thinks I am crazy

As I was sitting here today on SR and other sites doing my clicks, surveys and other penny earners, my DD 11 told me, "gosh mom I will give you a dollar if you get OFF the computer clicking for pennies." She also added that "it is not like a dollar was when you were a kid and could buy a coke and candy and popcorn. You cant get nothing anymore for a dollar." "You sit here doing all these things for 2 cents."
I reminded her that a penny made on the computer is a penny for Disney. :mickey: :minnie:
Her excitement was nothing like mine. I get happy over 2 cents.:banana: LOL anyway, she just doesnt appreciate the value of these pennies. :confused:

I find this funny and I'm not sure why.
Part of me is "OMG we're so excited over $.02-we need help" and part of me is like "Well, you'd pick a penny off the street, right?"

Well before I started my Disney change jar I probably wouldn't have picked up a penny. Now I don't pass up change anywhere. I am filling that jar from my DH pockets and under the kids beds and the floor of out vehicles and the parking lot of Walmart. I certainly don't pass up pennies or nickles or anything in between on SR why should I pass them up anywhere else???? :rotfl:

Yep I can totally relate. My husband has offered to just pay me to NOT DUE REWARD programs. Then he'll joke what are you doing right now and i'll oh doing a survey or whatever and he'll say for $.3 cents and roll his eyes. haha let him laugh. I don't think he'll be laughing all that much when we go to wdw this August my rewards $! The light bulb will finally go on!

I agree. My DH is more understanding than the kids, but he still will roll his eyes at me sometimes. Clicking for pennies again, he will say.

Hey, I'm 23 and my parents always told me not to be ashamed to pick up a penny because they amount up to something bigger ... and besides 100 pennies spends the same as a dollar :) Any money in my pocket is good money, especially trying to pay off my student loans from both my bachelors AND my masters degrees!
