I haven't started looking yet cause I'm really trying to work in a day at Epcot before we go on the cruise. Anyone else going to be there early?

I have! I had frequent flyer miles through AA so I booked early to get the flights I wanted. I am going to fly into Orlando on Tuesday night and would also like to to work in a day at Epcot on Wednesday. I don't have a plan or a reservation for the day/nights at Disney yet --- my traveling companion doesn't know what she wants to do and hasnt' booked any flights yet so I've been holding off booking until I know whether I have a roomate..
I also wonder if anyone wants to organize a group transfer and if we can get a better rate than using DCL's?

We'll be doing to Disney at least on Wednesday. Maybe Tuesday. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to take the girls out of school on Tuesday. Isn't MNSSHP Tuesday night? I'd love to at least be able to take them to that.
It turns out that our local travel group (ambassadair) has planned a huge group trip on the same cruise we are going on!

Yes! I wanted to go to that but can't leave work that day until 2 (big meeting) so I have to take an evening flight and won't get in in time :( Wish it was Wednesday instead!

I booked our flight, we get in late afternoon on Weds, we're doing MNSSHP on Sunday after the cruise.

I'm debating whether we should come in on Wed and go to F&W at Epcot, or stay Sunday and go to MNSSHP? It will just be Scott and I, and I think I am leaning towards the F&W.
I'd be absolutely interested in coordinating a transfer to share! I was wondering how that was going to work out.

Via the SW 15% DING, i booked ours:cooldance:at the lowest we've ever flown into Orlando!
Departing PIT on Saturday afternoon, October 18th & returning evening of Sunday, October 26th (to sneak in some park time @ U)...
less than $175 pp:sunshine2:
we've got a rental car booked, not thrilled with the rate (hope it comes down between now & then) @ $160; cannot remember how much parking is a day @ port now ($15?)
we'll be the AKV for 5 nights & will do 1 or 2 of the MNSSHP & HHN @ U; possibly another day @ MK if i can round up some tix
MNSSHP is on Sunday & Tuesday the week before the cruise & tix will go on sale May 1st, along with the coveted ADR slots being released
MK has PM EMH on Monday
AK has AM EMH on Monday
EP has AM EMH on Tuesday
AK has PM EMH on Wednesday
If anyone is interested HHN will probably be Sunday & Wednesday if they follow last year's schedule
cannot wait!

I haven't booked my airfare yet, because if I don't find a roommate I may not be able to swing the cruise:(
I have booked SSR from the Sunday before and am hoping to go to MNSSHP on the Tuesday.
I would be up for joining in on a group transfer to the boat!

I think Shelly now has room in her room. I'm still needing to talk to DH and see if I can swing it, hopefully Shelly can confirm she has room!

Hey Megan... welcome back from Holland! How exciting -- I am looking forward to seeing lots of photos!!
PM me and we can talk about details... I verified that you can definately room with me and my friend, Donna. And maybe make it a quad with April if she decides to go.

Took the plunge today and booked my airfare before the prices go up again. Managed to keep it to just above $600 which is pretty good from here. Of course I have to fly overnight and change planes in LAX but other than that it's all good :rotfl:

Just got finished booking airfare for myself and DD for the trip. It would have been $629 on Continental from Houston to MCO for both of use, but thanks to DH's frequent travel, I was able to book it for a grand total of :
100,000 flyer miles
$10.00 booking fee
:cooldance:
Awesome price :sunshine:
I can't wait -- just have to finish paying for our 4 nights at the Contemporary and remainder of the cruise balance now .
(On a side note, DD asks me daily how much spending money we have in "OUR" SR acct. She's ready for some major souvenir shopping. :rotfl:)

Whoo hoo!!! I need to think about whether I want to make an ADR for the day before somewhere or if the other girls just want to wing it.
I'll figure that out this weekend and then I'll be set!

Flights are booked! We'll be in on Wednesday and are flying out on Monday. It was so much cheaper to fly home on Monday than it was on Sunday! Now, I need to pay the balance on the cruise, and we are ready for October. Well, the kids are ready today! I'll have to started a countdown chart so they'll quit driving me crazy about it!:rotfl:
