SR Texas Meet

Who would be interested a mini SR Texas meet sometime this summer? Mom2aPrincess and I discussed this briefly in chat and I thought I would post and see how much interest there is. We were thinking of something in the Houston area since several of us are local to Houston.

What do you all think? Post your replies with interest and maybe suggest a few dates and then we can have a poll.

Lea Ann, I know you mentioned it in the first post, but just thought I would confirm. I'm for sure interested. Best time for me would be anytime after June 1 and before the last monday in August. :) (Summer vacation) The only exception is we'll be at Disney Aug 7-13.

Oh...and Lea Ann - don't let me forget that you and I have to meet up at KC no matter how this meet turns out. :)

Oh, count me in! I'm pretty much available anytime. July is vacation month, but I think it's towards the end of month. If we can get a definite date, it would really help me so I can work it around my chemo.

Mexican food is definitely my favorite!:) And seafood!:angel:

Either works for me but I had hoped for maybe earlier in the summer. I'll already be in Houston the 6th to leave for Disney and then turning around and coming right back for the Kenny Chesney concert, but if it is the first weekend of August I'll still be there.

Mid-June should be ok for me. One weekend we have the nephew baptism in San Antonio to go to but I don't know that weekend yet. I'll try to figure it out.

Here is the website for Cafe Adobe and address. It's the one called Spring Branch/Memorial in the Marq*E entertainment center off of I-10. I figured that would be the best one for everyone since it is right off of the interstate.

No real plans Thursday and Friday. My friend and her significant other just bought a house and will be moving into it the next week so I'm hoping to be able to go see it while we are there. Other than that, I really don't have any real hopes. I may try to take Cameron to a Build A Bear. I have a coupon and $20 so she may get a shopping spree out of me.

Becka will be away at another leadership camp. She doesn't come home until Friday so she'll spend Friday night with her parents or mine.

You really really cannot miss this location. It's right past I-10 and 610 heading out to Katy and it's a HUGE entertainment complex. If you pass IKEA you have gone too far. It should be the first exit past 610. Just make sure you are not in the far right lanes coming up to 610 and you will be ok :)

It has been. We went out to eat last night. Today we've spent hours by the pool and we are now decidedly pink...going to go out for a while and then coming back to cook on the pit. Can't wait for tomorrow!

:rotfl::rotfl: Cameron took in and enjoyed the trip even more than I realized. While in Hobby Lobby yesterday, she was supposed to be looking for stuff for her Disney autograph book we're making and she ran around the corner several times to show me wedding stuff we could get Catherine.
