Ok, So I have a login to the chatty women site. I found where you post, etc. I've done various blogs before, so it's not the actual blogging that I'm hung up on.

When I write something in the Chatter and publish it, where does it "go"?

How exactly do we make money doing this?

What is the purpose of joining with all of these other sites (other than increasing web traffic) and is it really just linking back to the post through the Chatter?

Also, I guess I need new direction. I submitted to Tricia with the thoughts of focusing on finances. It seems like Heather has that cornered now, so I'm left with nothing to talk about I guess. I suppose I could write about my new adventures with working out and eating according to The Zone, but no one will ever read that because it's boring. Any suggestions? Title ideas? Smacks upside the head?

I personally think that various opinions in finances is a great thing. Expecially with the economy the way it is right now. What works for one person may not work for another.

I second this-especially given where you live.

I think you should use the Chatter as a cross over place where you can try out different topics to blog on and see what works best for you. Once you have an idea of where you are going and have been doing it for 30 days then you can decided exactly what you want your Chatty Women blog to be and that is when you will need a title and a more specific theme. For now just blog on things that make you happy or that interest you and see where it takes you. Once you have your own blog on CW then you can start doing Pay Per Post which is how you make money. The other sites help to drop your real rank so that you can get more opportunities on PPP. That isnt something you need to worry about right now though since you have to have your own blog first and you have to have 30 days of posting first.

Thanks Janet! This is what I was looking for and just couldn't find it in plain terms (or wasn't looking in the right places) that's a big help :)

That's how I feel at the moment, overwhelmed with learning the set up to getting the traffic flowing.. I have a lot to say, but need to take the time to sit down and go thru click thru etc. I registered at digg but haven't gotten much further, got side tracked with other things including Netwinner! lol
That's my goal next week to get back into it and get everything set up.

Honestly the most important part is the blogging. Get started with that and worry about the rest once you get comfortable with creating posts on Wordpress and getting them to look right and sound right. Once you are comfortable with that then I would start off with Digg first and digg your own posts and everyone elses. After that would be clickthru to gain some traffic. Comment on other peoples blogs and make sure to leave your blog url in the part that says site. The rest can come later.
