I just went and checked my stats (i love this plug in BTW) and I have had 42 views already this morning and NONE of that is clickthru traffic. It is all real traffic. Of those 29 were reading my new post about the woman who can't forget. Her name in some form is also responsible for 29 searches that led them to my site! Yay! She was a good pick to blog about! At least one of those searches came from the CNN search engine LOL YAY! If you guys haven't watched and done the blogclassroom pre-course and it is still open I HIGHLY recommend that you do. Their tactics work and without having to do all that clicking.

You should! The numbers change. Yesterday I had 20 something views all day long and some of those (ok alot of them) were the PPP people trying to check my links for posts LOL. I like that it tells you what things you are posting about that are being found by searches. It tells you whether or not you are making your titles in a way that the search engines can pick up. It also tells you which posts are favorites so you know what your readers are interested in.

So my stats today are showing that Jill Price the woman who can't forget is a real blog money maker lol not that I have actually made money off of her but if searches and views were money I would be rolling in it. Today that post has had 67 views and 30 of those came off of searches for her name alone. Yeah! When you find a good topic it really works. Now if I could just get my post to the front page of Google for just ONE post.

LOL its always the obscure that gets it. That was why I did the book review on sookie stackhouse. I figured if anything could get me to the front page it would be that name. WRONG! She is also apparently popluar to blog about ROFL. I have had several searches for that name that have led to my site even though I blogged that a while ago.
