View Full Version : Archives?
At the top of my blog, there's a link that says "Archives," but it goes to a 404 page-why?
Also, am I over doing it with Archives-I have both the calendar as well as the monthly list (archives are a requirement for a pf blog aggregator I want to join once I'm a paid blog)?
I also added a disclaimer on my "About" page-it's not fabulous, but it's enough to cover my ***.

Did you start your blog in April or May? I'm wondering if it's too soon for your blog to have archives.
I haven't checked your about page yet but I just went to the disclosure policy website and clicked some boxes and did the copy and paste thing when it was over. That is what most people tend to do. You wouldn't have to worry about anything if you just went with whatever they generated.

April, but I have more entries than fit on a page.
I checked out the disclaimer policy site, but atm I'm more worried about covering my "I'm not a financial adviser" butt than the "I accept ads" disclaimer. I think I'll dig through the pf blogs I read and see what they say.
Also, do any of you use sitemeters? I haven't seen one on a CW blog (and it might not be legal till I start being a paid blog), but both a "how to personal finance blog" article I was reading, and the aforementioned aggregator suggest ne.

I'm not sure what you mean by a sitemeter? The only one I use is the new plugin on the dashboard.
I did have a trial at one place that does the same thing as the plugin, but it ran out quickly. What kind of meter are you refering to? A hits counter?

http://www.sitemeter.com/
I'd mainly be using it as a hits counter-goodness knows that I'm psychotic enough about checking my plug in stats.
