Anyone do this? I have started, and absolutely love it!! I have gotten caught up on almost a whole year in just a short period of time. I need to find a new source for digital downloads though, and some place cheap to print my pages. If I knew how to post them, I would share some of my pages.

I haven't taken the leap yet but I've seen some cool stuff people have done that way.

The printing is the only reason that I haven't started it. The software looks awesome. Where does everyone get their pages printed?? I have 12 x 12 books for the girls.

Once you do the digital pages and print them, then do you add embellishments that stick out after?

Tricia... I print mine at Costco...$3 a page. I figure that is a bargain when I figure I haven't had to buy stickers, print my pictures, adhesive, etc. I use the creative memories software, which I love, and I think you can also print them through them for $3.99 a page. I haven't printed pages in awhile, I think I have over 100 to do. So I will be doing them a little at a time. Too bad I can't get SR credit for Costco! loL ! I haven't found anyone else that will print 12 x 12, atleast not any cheaper. Even with the cost of the Costco membership, it is worth it for the difference in price. Don't know if they ship. I've always picked them up.
I do not add embellishments to them after the fact. The stuff I put on the pages can be shadowed, so it looks like it sticks out from the page a bit. Plus, my albums are flat! Not bumpy. Last edited by cjnix32; 11-15-2009 at 10:35 PM.. |

I am a fully converted digital scrapbooker. I paper-scrapped for many years, but don't miss it at all! I haven't printed any pages yet, but am thinking of doing a photobook for my DD for Christmas.
If you upload your pages to photobucket.com, you can post your layouts here. Or you could link us up to a gallery you have at another site. Would love to see them! Here is my gallery.... http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/...ser=16381&sl=j Also, I haven't ordered from them in a while, but SR merchant "A Cherry On Top" has digital scrapbooking supplies.....so you could get SOME SR credit for digital scrapbooking. |

Like your layouts! Do you use templates, or did you create those from scratch? I will try photobucket. Have never used them, but will give it a try! I will also check out the merchant.
